Big K.R.I.T. talks cars and bringing country rap to Soundset 2012
Southern spitter Big K.R.I.T. recently took some time out to talk to City Pages in Minneapolis about his career this far, favorite cars, and what he’s looking forward to at Soundset 2012 this Sunday. Check out an excerpt below about the festival and read more at CityPages.com.
“I’m excited to come out there. Off the top, I want to see Ghostface. Lord willing I’ll get to stay and watch him perform, because normally when we do these things I don’t get to stay and watch the show. I’ve never seen Kendrick Lamar perform either, and I really want to see that too. I’m happy to be in the mix. To be able to rap about country shit and take it to other places and have people understand where I’m coming from is a blessing. And standing with so many other artists from different backgrounds is great.”
