Get Cryphy named Best Dance Night in Minneapolis
In the last five years, the Get Cryphy DJ crew has made a name for themselves not only in Minneapolis, but nationwide. DJs Plain Ole Bill, Jimmy 2 Times, DJ Fundo, and LAST WORD make up the group, and they have established solo DJ and production careers as well. On the first Friday of every month, the four DJs hit the decks in First Avenue’s Record Room and throw some of the rowdiest parties known to Downtown Minneapolis. They’ve also had several successful anniversary shows at the First Avenue Mainroom, where they have the chance to bring their high-energy performance to a larger stage. Not only that, they’ve recently played in venues such as Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre with Atmosphere.

Since they’re so well known for throwing great parties, we thought it would be good to bring them on for another Official Soundset Afterparty. All four DJs will be spinning throughout the afterparty in the First Avenue Mainroom. The event is hosted by Brother Ali & MaLLy (who won Best Hip Hop Artist this week also!), and will also feature surprise Soundset artist guest performances all night.
