Macklemore & Ryan Lewis drop new video - “Victory Lap”
Hailing from Seattle, Washington, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have been making a serious name for themselves the last few years. After playing the Fifth Element Stage at last year’s Soundset, the duo went on to sell out the legendary First Avenue and played for a crowd of new and incredibly excited fans.
Their live energy and unique stage performance has grasped the attention of fans all over the country, and especially in their hometown. In 2011, they played their baseball-centric anthem "My, Oh My" to a full house of Mariners fans at Safeco Field to pay tribute to announcer Dave Niehaus.
In 2012 - Macklemore is starting off big! He was recently named one of the XXL Magazine 2012 Freshmen, a huge accolade for anyone who is lucky enough to be named each year.
Earlier this week, XXL dropped a new mixtape with songs from all of the 2012 Freshmen, and Macklemore included a song called "Victory Lap", a reflective look at his career up to now.
