Meet the youngest artist at Soundset 2012 - Tomorrow Genius
Only a few short months ago, Brother Ali brought an unknown 16-year-old artist named Tomorrow Genius on stage with him at Get Cryphy’s 4 year anniversary. In front of a Sold Out crowd at First Avenue, the 2 rocked a brand new joint called "Let ‘Em Through" produced by Plain Ole Bill.
For most artists, playing a Sold Out crowd at First Avenue or a heavy co-sign from Brother Ali is a career milestone rather than a starting point. It’s his stage presence, microphone skills, and high quality music videos and production that are helping this young up-and-comer from North Minneapolis make some serious noise in 2012. We’re excited to have him play at Soundset 2012 along with many other local standouts.
Check out a couple joints below and get ready to see him hold it down on May 27th! This young gun is sure to blow up soon, so don’t sleep on your chance to catch him rock at Canterbury Park in a little over a month.
