Song Premiere: Bambu - “When I Get To Minnesota”
One of the newest members of the legendary Soul Assassins collective, Bambu, is rocking at Soundset this year! The MC, hailing from Watts, CA has had a stellar last few years, sharing the stage with Soundset alums Immortal Technique, Murs, and Hieroglyphics as well superstars like Common and E-40. He’s been putting in work since 2003 when he dropped his first solo project, and has since released three solo albums and nine total projects, and is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The most recent album ...exact change…Reloaded features 22 tracks of his own brand of socio-political music and commentary that has earned him rave reviews worldwide as well as recognition from Cypress Hill’s DJ Muggs, Frank 151 and Diamond Supply Company. Most recently, he shared a Las Vegas stage with Rhymesayers standouts Atmosphere and I Self Devine!
Today, he’s letting us premiere this new track he made to celebrate his trip to Minnesota to play at Soundset in only 24 days!
